Red Sticker Award is set up to facilitate responses from viewers and to recognize outstanding creative efforts. Viewers can nominate up to 3 pieces in the show by placing red stickers on the pieces that they like. The award will go to the top 3 pieces with the most stickers. Red stickers are usually used to mark the sold pieces in commercial galleries. Although the intention here is not commercially driven, this symbolic gesture represents a sense of admiration and acknowledgement toward these children artists and their works.
The inauguration of the Red Sticker Award will take place in March 2016 in the 4th #wecanalldraw exhibition featuring 17 drawings by children artists under the age of 12 from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The exhibition and the nomination is open to public from March 1-31, 2016 in The Taste and See Shop on 129-1628 West 1st Ave Vancouver.
